The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the CBSE Class 10 and 12 results 2025 soon. As per latest updates, the results are likely to be declared between May 7 and May 12, 2025, though no official confirmation has been made by the board. Students are advised to check their scores on cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in once released.
This year, over 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE board exams, with 24.12 lakh for Class 10 and 17.88 lakh for Class 12. The exams were conducted between February 15 and April 4, 2025, across 7,842 centres in India and 26 other countries.
The 2025 board papers were reportedly of easy to moderate difficulty, which may result in a higher Class 10 pass percentage—expected to exceed 93%. The 12th result date is particularly awaited, with pass rates projected around 87–88%, similar to the previous year’s performance.
Students can also check their CBSE marks through DigiLocker, a government platform that offers secure access to digital academic documents. To access their DigiLocker CBSE result, students must log in using their roll number, school number, and a 6-digit PIN provided by their schools.
Post-result, students dissatisfied with their marks will have the option to apply for revaluation or request photocopies of answer sheets. The supplementary exams are tentatively scheduled between July 15 and 22, 2025, with results expected in August.
CBSE has reiterated that it will not release a merit list to reduce academic pressure. Students should verify their provisional mark sheets carefully and collect original certificates from their schools.
